When it comes to looking after your teeth, prevention is much better than cure. That is why it is so important to have regular dental check-ups. At Real Good Dental we aim to establish a long-term relationship with you and a key part of this will be your regular check-ups.
Regular check-ups are vital as they allow your dentists to assess the health of your mouth, teeth and gums, to catch any problems before they become serious and to advise you on what the best treatment options are. They also provide a vital opportunity for your dentist to give you advice you on how to keep your mouth, teeth and gums in the best of health. When you visit Real Good Dental for a regular check-up, your dentists will ask you questions about your general health and whether you’ve had any problems with your mouth, teeth or gums since your last visit to a dentist. Your dentist will then examine your mouth, teeth and gums and carry out routine hygiene treatments. If any problems are detected options for treatments will be discussed. The frequency of check-ups depends on the individual patient and can vary between once every three months and once every year. You will be advised on when you should visit again at the end of your check-up.
